There are hundreds of jewellery manufacturers in Bangkok, Thailand & Overseas. Most will quote you a lower price. Here is what that difference actually means — and why the buyers who have experienced both always come back to TDJ.

The Problem With Cheaper Quotes

I built Trinity Designer Jewel because I was once on the buying side of this industry.

A 10-15% saving sounds straightforward on paper. In practice it means stones that don't match across a pair, finishing that photographs poorly under studio lighting, pieces that don't sit correctly on the body, and a manufacturer who becomes difficult to reach once payment clears.

By the time the goods arrive, the saving is gone — absorbed by remakes, delays, and the cost of starting again.

TDJ exists because I wanted to build the manufacturing standard I couldn't find when I was looking for it.

What We Do Differently

Direct from manufacturer — no agents, no middlemen
Every order is handled directly by our Bangkok atelier. You communicate with the people making your jewellery. There are no agents marking up prices, no third parties losing information in translation, and no one between you and your finished pieces.

Gold purity — guaranteed and hallmarked
Every piece we produce is hallmarked to karat. 9kt, 14kt, and 18kt gold contains exactly the gold content it states. We do not produce vermeil, plated, or filled pieces. What you order is what you receive — verifiable, independently testable, and fully disclosed.

Diamonds and gemstones — hand-selected
We do not pull stones from a bin. Diamonds are selected for consistency of colour, clarity, and cut within each order. Gemstones are matched by hand for colour saturation, size, and surface quality before setting. For pairs — earrings, cufflinks, matched sets — stones are matched visually under magnification before the piece goes to the setter.

Invisible setting and pie-cut mosaic — manufactured in-house
These are the two most technically demanding setting techniques in fine jewellery. Most manufacturers subcontract them. At TDJ, they are done in-house by setters who have worked exclusively on these techniques for years. The result is a standard that subcontractors rarely match.

Quality check before every dispatch
Every finished piece is inspected under magnification before it leaves our atelier. We check stone security, prong integrity, surface finish, and dimensions against the original specification. Pieces that do not pass are reworked — not shipped with a note asking you to accept the difference.

If it's not right, we remake it
If any piece does not meet the agreed specification on delivery, we remake it at no cost. This is not a promotional offer — it is our standard policy. We have maintained it since we opened because it is the only way to operate a manufacturing business with a long-term reputation.

Who We Work With

TDJ supplies jewellery retailers across the USA, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. We manufacture private label collections for emerging jewellery brands. We produce bespoke commissions for private clients who want a single piece made exactly as they imagined it.

We have no minimum order quantity because the quality of the work does not change with the size of the order. A single custom ring receives the same attention as a production run of fifty.

The Comparison You Should Make

Before you make a decision based on price alone, ask the manufacturer you are comparing us with:

  • Is the gold hallmarked and independently verifiable?
  • Are stones selected individually or pulled from bulk stock?
  • Is invisible setting done in-house or subcontracted?
  • What happens if a piece arrives and does not match the specification?
  • Who will you be speaking to when you have a question — the manufacturer or an agent?

The answers tell you more than any price comparison.
