The ruby coverage is complete and uninterrupted across all four petals, the deep red colour reading as a single continuous field of saturated colour in the shape of a flower.

At 18mm diameter these are a substantial earring — the invisible setting technique is what makes a piece this size possible without the weight becoming impractical. A single round brilliant diamond sits at the centre where the four petals meet, its white brilliance providing a precise point of contrast against the surrounding ruby field.
